This Graduated Reinforced Bottom edge adds strength to fasten the very bottom of the fence to the ground where needed. This poly fence has 2 inch by 2 inch approximate opening size throughout and reduces size at the very bottom to 2 inch by 1 inch and ends with a 2 inch by half inch reinforced bottom.

Bitterfence® combines the properties of traditional poly deer fence with additives as a chew deterrent. The capsaicin inside the polypropylene is designed to discourage animals from chewing. But determined chewers like rabbits, moles, groundhogs, etc can often break through or chew past this deterrent given enough time and motivation. For a true chew barrier, you typically need chew resistance materials like our 1” by 1” or smaller opening size welded wire fence.
Please note: Bitterfence® is a chew deterrent, not a chew proof material. For rabbits and other small determined animals, please consider our welded wire fence.
