Deer Fence Posts
Deer fence posts, high strength grade black coated steel with matching post caps. Available as standard posts with galvanized ground sleeve inserts or 10' posts without inserts. Post/sleeve setup requires a driving anvil. A driving anvil is used with a sledge hammer to drive a ground sleeve into the ground and posts are inserted into the sleeve. The 10' posts are installed by digging a hole in the ground and either surrounding the base with compacted gravel/similar or cement, with 7 to 7.5ft of post ending up above grade. Post spacing should be one post every 15 feet approximately for poly mesh deer fencing and one post every 10 feet or less when suspending metal deer fencing.

Fence material is typically attached by 1) using ties found here: Deer Fence Ties or 2) by attaching to nylon cabling with hogrings and attaching cabling to posts, found here: Deer Fence Cabling

These are the post sleeves for standard deer fence posts and smaller diameter garden fence kit posts. These are useful if you move your fence line and need spare sleeves or need spares. These can also be used if you have a need to use post sleeves with your access gates (not as durable) for removable enclosures.
