There are a few types of poly fence material on the market. From our experience, some are too thin and floppy for deer/wildlife use or pet containment and have structure similar to soccer net material. Some are similar but not as thick and have a smaller opening size; This material is designed as aviary netting and also is not suitable for deer/wildlife/pet use. A good number of our customers come to us after first trying other types of fencing.
Our mesh is rated for a minimum of 650 pounds of breaking strength per square foot, consisting of single strand material stacked for strength. The material has structure in itself and when properly supported will not appear floppy or lose height up to spans of 25 feet or more.
Because of it's design, it's fairly difficult to cut through when installing or trimming. Sharp garden shears or pruning shears with spring action work best.
